Supply and service of fire fighting equipment
Role Description
This is a 6 month probation contract for a permanent position located in Saldanha Bay for a fire service technician. The Fire Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing of fire extinguishers and liaising with cliental. Ensuring compliance with the fire safety regulations. The Fire Service Technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting fire safety systems and providing recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
1. Registered SAQCC 1475 Technician
2. Minimum of 4 years experience of which 2 years in Marine in fire extinguisher installation, maintenance and repair
3. Drivers License
4. Understanding of fire & safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance
5. Troubleshooting skills for fire & safety systems
6. Ability to work hand in hand with power tools
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
